Konet now supports DNSSEC technology for all domain names. Since 2 September 2024, every domain you manage through our Client Area supports it, for even greater security.
What is DNSSEC?
DNSSEC (Domain Name System Security Extensions) is a security extension for the DNS system, which "links" domain names to IP addresses. DNSSEC adds a layer of protection, so that visitors to your websites connect to the site's real server and not to a malicious forgery.
Why is it important?
DNSSEC protects against DNS data forgery attacks (DNS spoofing) and other forms of online fraud. This makes the connection to your website more secure for your visitors and customers.
Is this the first time DNSSEC is available?
No. DNSSEC has been available through cPanel for more than 10 years. To enable it, however, you had to ask us via ticket, manually for each domain separately. With the new automation, you can do it all yourself with just 1 click from the Client Area.
How to enable DNSSEC
All customers who register domain names through our Client Area can now enable DNSSEC. You can easily enable it from the control panel of each domain.
