In August 2023, Konet made the new cPanel protection system permanent, after a trial period that proved successful. The change affects anyone who logs in to the cPanel of their hosting account.
When you go to log in to your cPanel, you may see a “Splash Screen” challenge. Under normal conditions, the system needs 1 second to check whether you are a human or a bot, and then lets you into your hosting account safely.
During this time you may see a message such as “Please wait” on your screen. Only if the verification fails will you need to “solve” the challenge with a simple Captcha.
If you cannot solve the challenge/captcha, or if the system does not take you to the Login Screen automatically, let us know straight away by phone or in writing.
