Hardened PHP on all our servers
Through CloudLinux, we run Hardened PHP versions on all our servers. Hardened PHP versions make sure that security updates keep coming for versions that have reached end of life. In any case, we recommend that you upgrade your applications to versions 8.0 and 8.1 as soon as you can.
How to upgrade your PHP version
You can upgrade from cPanel, using the "Select PHP Version" button in the Software category. You will find detailed steps in the guide Changing the PHP version in cPanel with PHP Selector.
If you are not sure which settings are needed to upgrade only certain addon domains or subdomains and not your whole account, let us know with a ticket and we will make the changes for you.
