Resource Usage in cPanel, a professional taking notes on resource usage

Resource Usage enabled in cPanel

Konet · · 1 min read

From 01/04/2026 we are enabling the Resource Usage tool in cPanel for all Semi Dedicated accounts on all our servers.

Shortly afterwards (01/05/2026) it will be enabled on all Managed WordPress and Managed WooCommerce accounts. For the other plans (Web Hosting, Reseller Hosting) no activation is planned for now. Its availability on them will be reviewed in the future.

The tool was not enabled until now, because it had been abused in the past. Working with the CloudLinux team, we have taken the appropriate measures so that this is no longer possible, so we can now offer it safely.

Where to find Resource Usage

Log in to your cPanel and look for the Resource Usage icon in the Metrics section (left column).

What information it gives you

In Resource Usage you can monitor your account's resource usage in real time and historically, such as:

  • CPU Usage - Processing power consumption
  • Physical Memory (RAM) - Memory consumption
  • I/O Usage - Disk read/write speed
  • IOPS - Disk input/output operations per second
  • Entry Processes - Concurrent entry connections
  • Number of Processes - Total number of active processes

You can also see whether and when your account reached the limit of a resource (faults), so you can better understand how your website behaves.

The tool gives you full transparency on resource usage and helps you assess your account's needs at any time. If you have any questions, our support team is at your disposal.
