A year ago we informed you that we were removing WordPress Toolkit from our servers due to serious technical problems. With the same honesty, we are letting you know that the tool is gradually returning and from July 1, 2026 it will be available on all cPanel accounts.
What changed in WordPress Toolkit
Recent versions of cPanel & WHM have fixed many of the problems that led us to remove it:
- better detection of versions and vulnerabilities
- more reliable updates through Smart Update, with detailed logs
- improved compatibility with popular plugins and themes
At the same time, cPanel now actively supports the tool, with regular fixes in every new release. We tested it again in our own environments and we consider that it can now be offered safely.
What this means for you
No action is required. WordPress Toolkit will gradually appear in your cPanel (Applications > WordPress Toolkit) as an additional management option. Softaculous remains available as always, because it is very reliable.
