A dedicated IP is an IP address that belongs only to your own site or server, and at Konet it comes with every VPS hosting plan. On web hosting, semi dedicated hosting and reseller hosting plans, sites share the server's IP.
What you get per plan
- Web hosting and semi dedicated hosting: the server's shared IP, no dedicated IP.
- Reseller hosting: the server's shared IP, with private nameservers, meaning ns1 and ns2 on your own domain, so your client sees your own brand.
- VPS: 1 dedicated IPv4 plus IPv6 address. Additional IPv4 addresses are not available.
Do I need a dedicated IP for SSL?
No. Many sites with different SSL certificates work fine on the same IP, and every hosting plan includes free SSL with automatic installation and renewal.
What about email?
No. The reputation of our servers' IPs is protected by the email sending limits and our anti-spam policy. For better delivery enable SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
