How long has Konet been in the Web Hosting business?
Konet has been operating since 1999. For more than 25 years it has supported the Greek market with a focus on security, stability, support and innovation. -

Sales: Mon–Fri 09:00–18:00, Sat 09:00–15:00.
Support: Mon–Fri 08:00–24:00, Sat 08:00–20:00. On Sundays/major holidays, support 07:00–00:00 only for genuine emergencies (e.g. server down).

How many accounts per server
We use AMD EPYC 7543 and Samsung enterprise NVMe. We host up to 50% of the theoretical capacity in order to maintain a performance and stability buffer. -
Disk types
Samsung Enterprise NVMe (since 02/2023) with indicative performance of up to 6,700 MB/s read for Web Hosting, Semi Dedicated, Managed WordPress/WooCommerce and Reseller. -
SSH access
Full SSH on VPS and Dedicated. On Web/Reseller/Semi Dedicated it is provided with a Greek static IPv4 (on request). SSH is not provided on Managed WordPress/WooCommerce and Managed Dedicated. -
Trial accounts
We provide a trial account after contacting Sales. A .gr domain is required (with free transfer for testing). If we do not meet your needs, you can transfer it elsewhere immediately. -
Billing periods
We support monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual billing (prices differ per period). Promotional prices usually apply to annual billing. All services are prepaid. Domain names follow Registry pricing. -
Hosting for friends/third parties
Yes. For multiple websites, Reseller Hosting is recommended for flexibility and economy. Use the correct registrant (owner) details for support/invoicing. -
Office location
Stefanou Veldemiri 5, Sykies, 56625 Thessaloniki (opposite the Neapoli–Sykies Town Hall). Visits by appointment only. -
Email sending limits per hour
They depend on the plan. VPS/Dedicated have no limits on our side. The limits protect against blacklisting/spam. If you are “hitting” the limit, open a ticket for an upgrade or a custom solution. -
Order activation time
Card/PayPal payments are confirmed immediately; bank transfers may take hours. Web/Reseller etc. are activated automatically within seconds after confirmation. VPS/Dedicated: more time (up to 1–3 business days, in special cases up to 7). -
Refund policy
14 days for Web Hosting, Semi Dedicated, Managed WordPress/WooCommerce, Reseller. Domains, add-ons, specialized/consulting services, VPS and Dedicated are excluded. Detailed terms on the website. -
Hosting regions
VPS/Dedicated: Europe, America, Asia, Oceania (multiple DCs). Web/Reseller/Semi/Managed WordPress/WooCommerce: Europe. -
Script installation
All plans (except VPS) include Softaculous (300+ apps: WordPress, Joomla, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Magento, etc.). Installing most legitimate scripts is allowed. We can install them for you on request. -
Dedicated IPs
VPS and Dedicated come with 1× IPv4 and an IPv6 subnet (on request). Extra IPv4 for Dedicated (if you wish). Dedicated IPs are not provided on Web/Reseller/Semi; we offer private nameservers. -
Are you a hosting provider or a reseller?
We are an official elastic hosting provider with our own equipment and premium software licenses. We also offer Reseller Hosting for resellers. -
Sending newsletters
Allowed only with the explicit consent of recipients and full compliance with anti-spam rules/regulations. Zero-tolerance policy on spam; violations lead to suspension/termination. -

More storage space
When the quota is not enough, a plan upgrade is recommended. Open a ticket for suggestions. -
Video hosting
Allowed on VPS/Dedicated (subject to the content restrictions of the Terms of Service). In a shared environment we recommend using external video platforms and embedding via links for performance/scalability. -
VAT
Applies to businesses based in Greece. It is not included in the listed prices. For the EU (outside Greece), the reverse charge rules apply where applicable. -
Prohibited content
We do not host content related (directly/indirectly) to online games, adult-only content, dating, casino/betting, bots/AI software, forums, or political/party/religious/sexual-orientation content. We reserve the right to refuse service/terminate an account in case of violation.
