The email sending limit per hour is the maximum number of outgoing emails your account can send within one hour, and it depends on the hosting plan. It exists to keep the reputation of our servers' IPs clean, so your emails land in the inbox and not in spam.
The limit per plan
| Plan | Emails per hour |
|---|---|
| Web Hosting Light | 50 |
| Web Hosting Standard | 100 |
| Web Hosting Advanced | 150 |
| Web Hosting Developer | 200 |
| Semi Dedicated Professional | 400 |
| Semi Dedicated Business | 500 |
| Semi Dedicated Premium | 600 |
| Semi Dedicated Enterprise | 800 |
| Reseller Small and Medium Agency | 70 per client account |
| Reseller Large and Xlarge Agency | 100 per client account |
The limits are also shown on every plan, on the web hosting, semi dedicated hosting and reseller hosting pages.
If you keep hitting the limit
If your site or mailbox often reaches the limit, open a ticket and we will find the right solution together, for example a plan upgrade. The "max defers and failures per hour" message is a different matter, about emails that are not delivered.
Can I send newsletters?
Yes, only to recipients who have given explicit consent and in full compliance with anti-spam rules. We have zero tolerance for spam, and a breach leads to suspension or termination of the account.
To help your emails reach the inbox, enable SPF, DKIM and DMARC on your domain.
